Fire Suit at Auction!

A Simpson fire suit race worn by Dale Earnhardt Sr. during the 1998 NASCAR Thunder Special Motegi 500, at the Twin Ring Motegi, in Motegi Japan.

This is the first race that Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earhardt Jr. raced on the same team. Dale Jr. finished 6th, besting his father Dale Sr. who finished 8th. In addition, it was the first ever NASCAR oval race held in Japan.

With main sponsor “Coca-Cola” logo embroidered on the front of the suit, and throughout, as well as many logos and patches from secondary sponsors. "Winston Cup Series - 7-Time Champion Dale Earnhardt" is embroidered in the top left of the suit.

Of note on the left shoulder is the 50th Anniversary NASCAR patch. Signed "Dale Earhardt" in black marker on the front of the suit.

This suit was originally auctioned off by Earhardt himself at the Winston Cup Preview in January of 1999 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Includes a promotional image of Earnhardt Sr. posing with Earnhardt Jr. while wearing this suit.

A Simpson MTO 19 fire suit race worn by Kevin Harvick during
the 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.

With main sponsor “Reese’s Caramel” logo embroidered on the front of the suit as well as many logos and patches from secondary sponsors.

“Kevin Harvick” is embroidered in yellow lettering on the belt of the suit. The suit is signed on the front by Harvick in black marker.

Included are three diecast cars featuring Harvick’s Reese’s sponsored cars, one of which is signed by Harvick, and two images of Harvick wearing the suit.

A Simpson fire suit race worn by Dale Jarrett during the 1995 NASCAR Winston Cup season while driving for the Robert Yates Racing team.

With main sponsor “Quality Care” logo embroidered on the front of the suit as well as many logos and patches from secondary sponsors.

“Dale Jarrett” is embroidered in white lettering on the left side of the suit.

The Simpson tag on the inside of the suit features a manufacturing tag of “10/95.” Included is a signed photograph of Jarrett.

With main sponsor “Valvoline” logo embroidered on the front of the suit as well as many logos and patches from secondary sponsors. “Mark Martin” is embroidered in blue stitching on the left side of the suit.

Included is a Valvoline team hat with Martin’s #9 on the hat bill and a signed photograph of Martin kneeling in front of his car.
