  1. Please tell me SOMEONE in NASCAR's PR department (or whomever was responsible for the "Greatest Finishes" advertising description) knows that "penultimate" means "second to last"! I heard some moron use this word incorrectly today on the Daytona race broadcast as well, and I had to laugh. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE WORD MEANS, DON'T USE IT!! Penultimate does NOT mean what you think it does!! lol

  2. So what's wrong with stating that this video contains the 1976 Daytona 500 Race, which was the "penultimate" (next to last) race in which both Richard Petty and David Pearson participated?

Seems to me your Obsession with the word, has blinded you to sentence structure. I mean, I turned it around and restructured it so maybe you could see that it "is" used correctly. But then, maybe your real problem is with, ANGER MANAGEMENT???

As in deed, your "all caps" comment would suggest. As well as the fact, that you created a google account for no other reason than to demean this post; would suggest that you are, obsessed.

I mean, I feel for ya. But I'm not a doctor. So, you know. Good Luck with the life that's ahead of you.
