Please tell me SOMEONE in NASCAR's PR department (or whomever was responsible for the "Greatest Finishes" advertising description) knows that "penultimate" means "second to last"! I heard some moron use this word incorrectly today on the Daytona race broadcast as well, and I had to laugh. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE WORD MEANS, DON'T USE IT!! Penultimate does NOT mean what you think it does!! lol

ReplyDeleteSeems to me your Obsession with the word, has blinded you to sentence structure. I mean, I turned it around and restructured it so maybe you could see that it "is" used correctly. But then, maybe your real problem is with, ANGER MANAGEMENT???
